Vintage Polkadots

Dress - 1940's Vintage (from my dads cousin) / Sunnies - Marc Jacobs / Necklace - Target ($7 on clearance!) 

My hair is a mess and I decided to go barefoot. Reason? 

Well, I did not have any shoes that would match this amazing 1940's vintage dress. So I figured why not. As for my hair, it was quite windy. I'm no model, wish I had a hair and make-up pro on site. I received this dress from my dad's cousin. As well as a few others. All I can say is, that I'm in LOVE with this chic number. I may have to do some tailoring, so it's more proportional to my short height. As well as find some shoes. I REALLY need more and new shoes.

Summer is pretty much here officially, and I couldn't be happier! Finally catching up on my blog. After having this dress for at least 3 years, I finally decided to do a OOTD post with it. Can you believe I got this as a highschool graduation gift? (I know, it still fits!) What I love most about this dress, is the super bright floral pattern, and colors. Also the zipper gives the dress a little bit of that edge feeling, while still being super feminine. What are some of your favorite prints and patterns lately?!

Happy Superbowl Sunday everyone! 

I know, I have been SOOO MIA lately! I totally rushed this ootd post, had to show of my boots I won! (Still can't believe I won shoes, thank you again Kimberly x Sole Society!) I also got a new nanny gig, and that has been taking up lot of my time, but it's quite the experience so far. Teenagers these day man. 

As for the superbowl, I really don't care for either team. I mostly just want Manning to retire after he wins today, so he can be out of my CHARGERS division already!

My gatsby inspired dress for tonight's big premiere! (sequins!) I'm so excited to see this version of The Great Gatsby, (although robert redford and mia farrow did a good job in the 70's). I really just want to see Prada's work on the big screen too. (am I right ladies and fashion lovers!?) Tweet me your outfit pics, I would love to see them. @KatjaNyquist
